It'd be nice to add support for more popular languages, e.g. Pyton, Java, Golang, etc.

I know there is https://github.com/ptweir/python-string-sql for Python and probably forks for other languages. But installing many extensions for same logic, i.e. /*language*/"(literal)" is kind of redundant.

Supporting more language would definitely make this extension even more popular.

Thanks!

Hello
I quote this request
e.g. for PHP when you write MySQL queries
In Visual Studio Code I have tried some to highlight SQL in PHP files but no way, the queries are still monochromatic

Same. I have large sections of HTML strings living in CoffeeScript files and it would be very convenient to have the support there.
