First of all I love this plugin, thanks for the work. What I'd really like to have is the option to select/format multiple features. This would work like search for a name, select it and then have some option to freeze that geometry and select a color/fill then perform a new search and add that geometry.

For example if you had many parcels of land and you wanted to search for
Company A's land then compare it to Company B's land. Right now you can
search for Company A and it gets pulled up and outlined then if you want to
see company B the original search outline disappears. I'd like to keep
that original search outline and then each subsequent search would be
included on the map (preferably with an option to select outline color)
until a button is pressed to clear all searches.

I'm not sure I follow the idea.
What would be the use case?
