Hi,

I am trying to run some basic performance tests with OpenSplice (just latency and throughput). My intention is to run the RoundTrip and Thorughput tests as described here: http://download.prismtech.com/docs/Vortex/apis/examples/dcps/README.html. My testbed consists of a couple of Linux machines with Ubuntu 18.04 installed.

After cloning this repo and installing it as described in the README of this repo, I am not able to find the executables related to that tests. The instructions on the documentation seem to be referring to another version/release of the product and are not useful to solve my issue: for instance, they refer to a Makefile that should be present in the opensplice/examples/dcps directory, but which are not there.

Could you please provide a more recent documentation, or just describing how to build and run the provided performance tests?

Thank you,
Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo,

To perform RoundTrip and Thorughput tests you can follow the below link:

http://download.prismtech.com/docs/Vortex/html/ospl/EvaluationGuide/tests.html

You can get the same information from the OpenSplice_EvaluationGuide.pdf, Chapter 8: Performance Tests and Examples. This document is present in /HDE/x86_64.win64/docs/pdf/
