I use hypothes.is as a read later system too. It means I frequently add articles to hypothes.is to read later. The way I do it is, I add a page note for the article I want to read, with a tag "*inbox". I will clean the "inbox tag later, and annotate the articles accordingly.

Currently to add an article, I have to click the hypothes.is bookmarklet icon, click "New page note" button, click the tag box. 3 clicks in total.

It will be great to have a feature to add an article quickly through one click, or a keyboard shortcut, to:

  1. Enable hypothes.is on the page.
  2. If there is no annotations or page notes on the page, add a page note with the page description as content.
  3. Move the focus to the tag box.
  4. Bonus, automatically add a tag like "*inbox".

@Abdillah, I understand this requirement is pretty specific. Do you think if it is within the scope of this project? If you think so, I can attempt to create a PR.

Hello @leira, the only requirement is that I want to keep the bookmarklet icon simple as currently it is (no dropdown, etc).

Do you have an idea on where to add the extra action?
