Hi,
today I suddently had the problem, that my monitor stopped working as expected when I returned to my computer. I used the driver and the monitor for a while without any problems but today it suddently stopped working. I tried to reboot several times and even uninsalled / installed the displayport-debian driver again. I followed the post-install guide and deleted the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-displaylink.conf as stated for Intel graphics card. I also tried the two other versions of the settings in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-displaylink.conf file without success.

The Debug Information above tells me that the DisplayLink Service is running and the Monitor is detected by xrandr. What is the problem that the monitor still doesn't work?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi OP, literally ran into the exact same situation today. Installed displaylink-debian yesterday and so stoked it was working. Today stepped away from computer, come back and now monitor no long working. DisplayLink services is up and running and i've retried all the steps you've done. Not sure what else to do. One thing I notice though was the listproviders sometimes shows only the intel device, though after other reinstalls it shows all four providers.
