We have identified a bug in Apple's speech recognition frameworks when running on iOS 18 or macOS 15, which renders long-form dictation unusable.
Issue Details:
When using speech recognition in apps like Drafts, the system discards a significant portion of dictated data, only retaining the most recent utterance, while previous dictation is lost.
This behavior makes it impossible to perform continuous long-form dictation, as only the latest part of the dictation is saved.
