We appreciate all you’ve done to accommodate features and relations that are not in the basic set.
But the GUI fails to properly save features with brackets ([]), which are required to specify the layer of UD layered features, for example, the possessor person, number, and gender on nouns with possessive affixes (Person[psor], Number[psor], Gender[psor]), as in Semitic languages such as the ones we work with.
In Arborator, the dialogue that appears following uploading of a sample replaces the first bracket with an underscore: Gender_psor. Then the bracketed features in our trees go to the ‘misc’ column in the CoNNL-U representation.
