It would be important to handle common route standards that are generated by devices like:

GPX
KML
GeoJSON
Others?

Open Geospatial consortium for Earch Observation Dataset Metadata GeoJSON(-LD) Encoding Standard describes a specification using JSON-LD.

The @context contains several properties that could be reused.
