Quick summary

The Feelin' Good theme is no longer working in prod. It's fine in the editor, but when previewing the front end, it is either a blank page (pink) or, if sandboxed, shows a blank page with the text "No matching template found".

I encountered this when testing Automattic/jetpack#37025, and it was reproduced by @candy02058912.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Simple or Atomic site with a plan that allows using Feelin' Good, e.g. Premium or Business
  2. Add a new post or page
  3. Add some content in the editor
  4. Preview the content on the front end
  5. Confirm no content is shown
  6. Repeat with your site sandboxed and you should see "No matching template found"

I was able to reproduce only on unlaunched site.

The preview in onboarding and launch pad looked broken as well:

The issue went away as soon as I launched the site.

I was not able to replicate this on an existing, launched site where I activated Feelin' Good theme. The https://feelingooddemo.wordpress.com/ doesn't seem to be experiencing this issue either.

I there! I followed the testing steps and I wasn't able to reproduce it. I tried it with two new sites (unlaunched) and the theme worked as expected.

@alaczek @mpkelly can you confirm that you're still reproducing it?

I haven't been able to reproduce this 🤔, either on an existing unlaunched site, or on a brand new unlaunched site.

I've had odd problems with Feelin' Good before that I could never fully get to the bottom of.

Closing this since we haven't been able to reproduce it. Feel free to open it if happens again. :)
