Use Case Title
Add a new element to CEDS called Credit Earned Date.

Use Case Description
Element Name: Credit Earned Date
Element Definition: The date when a person earned credit for passing a course or program.

Use Case Background
The Education-to-Workforce Indicator Framework includes a metric for first-time postsecondary students who complete specific courses within their first year. A new element is needed that captures the date the student earned credit for passing the course or program to ensure the date falls within the student's first postsecondary enrollment date (or within another specified time frame).
