When executing the script and running the settings of the "Desktop" preset and checking some options of my preference as shown in the screenshot, the programs do not appear in the Windows search.
I tried the following methods to try to resolve this:
Windows Troubleshooter
Rebuild indexer
Make sure the WSearch service is enabled (automatic)
The only solution that worked for me was to reinstall the WSearch application.
Following the step by step that worked FOR ME, may be different for you.
DISCLAMER: As Chris himself said WSearch itself has a lot of telemetries, activating WSearch again your system will have more telemetry than the pure script.
First end all windows search processes in task manager like SearchApp.exe and SearchIndexer.exe
And finally, finish all the Windows search processes in the taskmanager, and set the WSearch service to automatic and restart.
Don't forget to restart the system! Any questions can contact me.

Then I set up as an administrator the script to reset WSearch available on the Microsoft website.

Then run these commands in powershell in adminstrator in this order:
And finally, finish all the Windows search processes in the taskmanager, and set the WSearch service to automatic and restart.
