There is no code of conduct on the brigade's website.

Also--and I'm happy to make this a new issue, on the code of conduct repo if needed--there is no contact information for the group who does code of conduct issue adjudication, locally. The Slack contact does not appear to be anyone on our local Slack channel.

(To be clear: I'm not looking for this information because I've had an issue; I'm totally OK. I'm looking because this is something every tech group needs to be really good about, to be properly inclusive.)

@csheldonhess , thank you for bringing this up!

The annual governance meeting this coming Saturday (Jan 6 2017) will be a perfect place/time to:

  • review the Code of Conduct
  • Re-affirm the Code of Conduct contact (or appoint a new person etc)
  • update the Code of Conduct & the slack addendum

and then within a day or two of the meeting:

  • roll all of these updated documents into the website, migrating/closing the code of conduct repo.

Just as a quick preliminary step, I enabled a project page on the Code of Conduct repository. It renders the markdown README in that folder as a page. Now we can see it here: https://codeforpittsburgh.github.io/codeofconduct/
