Laravel best practices for starter kits

There are a couple of prominent starter kit ideas in Laravel. What approaches do they take and features do they have which we might want to follow or utilize? Would we want to base our work directly off any of them?

Official Packages

• Laravel Breeze: A project dependency that uses Blade stack to provide a minimal implementation of authentication
• Laravel Jetstream: A full application starter kit with robust account management and API features, designed with Tailwind CSS and Livewire

Third party approaches

• Laravel Nova: An administration panel for Laravel (built by Laravel team, but commercial). Would we consider this as a base tool, rather than building bespoke admin components? There is a license fee, but it is fairly minimal.
• statamic: A Laravel CMS, focused on page building. Primarily of interest for how they manage a starter kit ecosystem: https://statamic.dev/starter-kits/creating-a-starter-kit. Potentially of interest for considering feature requirements and development approaches, since code is available for review.
• Twill: CMS features based on Vue.js. Strong Laravel architecture. May be of interest in considering feature requirements and development approaches.
