Is there any chance to get this updated?
Where are the difficulties on that (i am genuinely curious)?

This is speculation but I assume it is for bandwidth conservation. All the effects in wireless mode are on-device presets so they do not introduce any extra overhead other than the initial "switch to preset X" data. Sending a stream of LED data necessary for custom control / SDK usage would probably use a decent amount of bandwidth that they want to reserve for the actual product's function (keystrokes, mouse clicks, etc).

I am curious about the events example with the release of the scimitar wireless. I asked support but they didnt have an answer really (well, they said you could program it to whatever you can do in icue, like F1-F24 on the side keys but thats not really the same thing). I am tempted to bite the bullet and just try it and see if it works wireless but then thats like 80-95% of the reason I would buy it (having off keyboard remaps of the m keys that are not F13-24 or even foreign lang chars) so I might wait a minute.
