In an existing or new group, when I click on the admin tab for that group, and then the courseware tab, I get a page not found error. This is happening whether I've created the group previously or have just created the new group, whether or not the BP Group Docs plugin is active or not.

thanks :)

What is the setup? What versions you are using?

Btw, are you somehow using a custom groups slug?
Because on my default setup locally I cant reproduce this.

I was, but I'm not any more :( Still doesn't work on new or existing groups.

It appears that the buddypress group documents plugin has disappeared from wordpress.org and buddypress.org as a plugin. So, I am in the process of moving over to bp docs, by Boone Georges. I'll see if deleting the buddypress group documents plugin entirely fixes my issue. Otherwise, any other hints/tips? Thanks.

I also have it locally installed and had no problems.
Thanks.

Sorry, been a bit busy.

So if you go directly to something like:
http://domain.com/groups/GROUP_NAME/admin/courseware
It still doesn't work?

Only / is missing in the path between «admin» and «courseware» of the script of version 0.9.6 calling the admin GUI:
http://domain.com/groups/GROUP_NAME/admincourseware

I just added that slash on line 248 of /buddypress-courseware/groups/groups.class.php …
(«/courseware» and not only «courseware»)
… and it's working for me.

I'm aware of the problem, but atm It's not worth a release. This will get fixed when a release is ready or until somebody sends me the patch.

adding the "/" to groups.class.php works, but disabling courseware in a group does not seem to work.

  1. go to the admin/courseware
  2. click "disable" in Courseware Status
  3. click Save

The Courseware tab does still show for teacher and students (and any visitor) of theat group page.

As I said, patches welcome, or just wait until I make a new release.
This is not critical.

Regarding courseware status inside a group, please open a new ticket with
details if you think this is a bug.
