Describe the Bug

When using fluid pipes in an attempt to generate stone for a cobblestone generator, if the pipe with lava is flowing into a waterlogged block (e.g. a waterlogged stair, fence, depot, belt, etc.), the stone will still form, however the original waterlogged block will be voided and completely replaced.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Place any block that can be waterlogged down and waterlog it. Preferably set up blocks around it to prevent flowing water accidents.
  2. Place a mechanical pump on one side pointed into the waterlogged block and provide it with power.
  3. Place a lava source on the other end of the mechanical pump.

Expected Result

No stone will be generated, or stone will be generated, but the prior waterlogged block will turn into an item to be picked up. I expected the first, but the second is also possible, I guess.

Additional Context

Tested in both 1.20.1 and 1.19.2. Presumably happens in any versions with 0.5.1e.

Bug found while trying to find a fix for the cobble stone generators broken in 0.5.1e, as prior explained by KostromDan in issue 5547
