We regret to inform you that Cyberscap has recently discovered a security breach affecting one of our servers hosting our main domain and cloud services (cloud.cyberscap.com). Upon investigation, we found evidence of unauthorized access via a webshell, potentially compromising our old Content Management System (CMS) and the cyberscap.com domain.
In response to this incident, we are taking immediate action to address the issue. As a precautionary measure, we will temporarily terminate access to both our websites while we conduct a thorough investigation. We assure you that our team is working diligently to rectify the situation and we aim to return with a renewed online presence as soon as possible.
We understand the gravity of this situation and want to provide transparency regarding the potential impact. It is possible that the attacker may have accessed data stored within our old CMS, which includes customer information such as names, email addresses, and hashed passwords.
We take the security and privacy of our users extremely seriously, and we are implementing additional measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or concern this may cause, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to resolve this issue.
If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at contact[at]cyberscap.com.
Thank you for your cooperation.
