Thoughts on switching this project to MIT License?

Apache-2.0 license used by cdxgen has served us quite well for a number of years. To help this community grow further, we want to remove friction as much as possible.

There are a couple of points in an Apache-2.0 license that are irrelevant but could cause enough doubt to prevent wider enterprise adoption.

• Grant of patent license - This project doesn't include or violate any patents, so there is nothing to grant
• Trademarks - The word "cdxgen" is not trademarked and shouldn't be. Any user or organization must be free to call their own tool or product as cdxgen.

So should we stay or switch to MIT or offer a dual Apache-2.0 OR MIT to avoid any compliance burden?

We will leave it running for a few days but looks like things are inconclusive right now so best not to change anything.
