The phase of day refers to dawn, day, dusk, and night, as described in the documentation. I'd like to represent this graphically, not just in text, and not just with a derivative knock-off of how SmallTime does things.

I'm going to experiment with changing the UI background image using a crossfade between images in the Seamless Sky Backgrounds asset pack by Screaming Brain Studios.
