When REAPER is closed and opened again, then dexed-lv2 starts with the default voice.

This happens on Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 running 64-bit Debian Bullseye and the dexed-lv2 package from kx.studio. I don't know whether this is a bug in REAPER, in Dexed, in the dexed-lv2 DISTRHO port, or in the kx.studio package.

Can you reproduce this?

In the meantime use the vst version, I haven't had issues with that. This project appears to have stagnated. Same issue with vital-lv2, and vital vst2 keeps crashing. Though I don't know if I should make an issue about it since this is months old without a response.

people get busy with other things. if you have an issue with an opensource project, you can always try to fix it yourself.
that is typically the fastest way to go about it.

with that said, progress is being made.
the juce7 transition is in progress https://github.com/DISTRHO/JUCE/commits/juce7

I meant no offense and understand you are busy with other things, I was just stating the fact of the matter.

But that's awesome to hear!

none taken, and I am also being truthful when I say fixing things yourself is the fastest way to get things done.
it is how I approach things myself too.

dexed version we have here is quite old now, but upstream tends to break backwards compatibility on updates so I have not been keen on updating it.
with that and official lv2 juce support, maybe dexed will get official lv2 version too. though that again will be in a backwards incompatible way again.. perhaps not an issue since state is not being restored properly anyway.

something to see soon, for now just rebasing the patches against juce7 is the first step.
still going to take a few more days.
