User card spacing is odd, etc

Similar to #16 the user cards in my new install / newly-installed theme are a bit off, with lots of spacing at the top and not enough in the title. There's also an issue with the color of certain buttons and the spacing of a few elements (see screenshots). Finally this is just personal preference, but the title font for topics is HUGE, have you considered making it closer to 32px? My eyes hurt when browsing the page and I can't put my finger on why. I'm sure I can tweak my own css, just feedback. Thanks for a great theme otherwise!
