Getting traces across pubsub messages

I use Google pubsub to do async messaging between node apps monitored and traced by datadog. I would really like to see the trace go across the messaging. Also see the interconnected services in DD APM map.

I don't think this is provided out of the box, any idea how I can make it work ? Should I manually pass on trace details in the pubsub message and feed it do DD on the receiving end ?
