The glb tiles and our flat tiles are all on the same sphere without taking into account elevation at all.
While this is easily fixed for flat tiles (once we have the information from some source), we have no way of transforming glb tiles even naively (we can only rotate and stretch the tiles, but not skew them)

OSM2World has a mode to render terrain. It is not perfect, but not even www.F4mao.com is.
GLB tiles are not done wit terrain yet but I think, it is possible.
I will ask Tobias for a demo.
