Icon shows green dot after restart

Frequently after restarting my Mac, the Tool Releases menu bar icon shows a green dot. When I click on it, there aren't actually any new releases.

@etrahretep could you please provide a little more context about your environment, like, OS version, is the ToolRelease set to launch automatically on login?

Running Toolrelases on three systems. Two of them running Monterey 12.3 bèta (21E5196i) and the third one Big Sur 11.6.3 (20G415). All three launch at login/restart. Not been able to time the appearance of the green dot but a few times a day on all three. And there's nothing new...
