Shadow Hockey (2004?) #10
Comments
I've heard there's also a silver variant of this game. Good luck finding it if you can. |
Hey there, I'm the owner of the only known silver variant of Shadow Hockey. I'm a fan of this project and wanted to contribute by providing pictures of the silver Shadow Hockey. Please let me know if these images are good enough for you, or if you need anything else. Let's make that cheap image swap a reality: |
Also, sorry that its so scuffed, I tried cleaning it as much as i could without accidentally scraping the tacky chrome paint off of it. This toy was pretty well loved when I was a kid, so its got the battle scars of a well loved toy. |
holy shit that's unexpected, thanks a thousand! I didn't know the shell actually had some detail to it, it really just looked like a sticker swap from the low res images online. I appreciate that the pictures are in the same format/background as the other ones in the project so this is fine for me to include as-is; Higher resolution shots would be appreciated if possible, as I usually include the pictures at about 2600px. (I did use a DSLR for them though, which you might not have on hand) |
hey there, glad you appreciate the pics, i made sure to match as closely to
the other pics already available on your project. unfortunately, this is
as high quality as it will get until i have access to a better camera (or
just upgrade my phone to one with a better camera).
i had downloaded the program around 6 months back to rip the sound effects
from Shadow Hockey for a YouTube video that i was making at the time, which
included a teaser of an upcoming video that will be about this silver
variant Shadow Hockey. i can tell you with 100% certainty that the game
itself is the exactly the same between the regular and silver variants, so
it would be as simple as an image swap to add this into your project.
for my next video, i plan on mentioning your project and how cool it is
working to preserve these games to make them accessible for anyone that's
interested. i figured i may as well ask if you're cool with me doing that
while i have your attention. i will of course be mentioning your username,
the name of the project, and will link directly to your project in the
description, assuming that you're fine with it.

Sure, no problem with that as far as I'm concerned. |
