Has development stopped on this? #56
Comments
Hi @ssefick, sorry for the lack of development. I have been mainly focused on updating the dependent paws SDK. I am planning to continue development. In the mean time, I am more than happy to receive any PR. |
Thank you, sir. I will watch this project as it develops. I would be happy to help, but I am unsure how to start. |
I will see if I can add some contribution guide lines :) along with key milestones. Hopefully it will help with new contributors. |
Sounds great! Looking forward to it!

Sorry for the delay in the updates. Rough Guide:
Currently sagemaker r sdk needs better unit test coverage to ensure the sdk doesn't contain unexpected errors. From memory we have ok coverage. The last focus was around the pipelines (sagemaker.workflow). Next steps: determine what is missing from current implementation and latest python implementation. Sagemaker stems off it's session class. So The key next steps will be to update R's session class to make sure it contains all latest features. As sagemaker is developing super fast will probably need to aim for a specific version and then go from there. |
@ssefick Are you still interested in contributing to this project? If so, I can set up better communication so that we can work together to get this project off the ground. |
Yes, I am still interested in helping with the project.
