Contributing to Ember

Thank you for considering contributing to Ember!

We welcome contributions from the community to help us make this project even better and more impactful. Whether you're a developer, designer, writer, or have other skills, your input is valuable.

How to Contribute

  1. Fork the Repository: If you haven't already, fork the Eco Connect repository to your GitHub account.

  2. Clone the Repository: Clone your fork of the repository to your local machine.

  3. Create a Branch: Create a new branch for your contribution.

  4. Make Changes: Make your desired changes and improvements to the codebase.

  5. Test Your Changes: Ensure your changes do not introduce new issues and maintain existing functionality. Run relevant tests if available.

  6. Commit Your Changes: Commit your changes with a clear and concise commit message.

  7. Push Your Changes: Push your changes to your fork on GitHub.

  8. Create a Pull Request: Go to the Eco Connect repository on GitHub, switch to your branch, and click on "New Pull Request." Describe your changes in detail, including the problem you're solving and any relevant information.

  9. Review and Discussion: Participate in the discussion on your pull request. Be open to feedback and willing to make changes if necessary.

  10. Merge: Once your contribution is approved, it will be merged into the main project.
