This is great! I bet crypto friendliness is important, even if we're doing crypto transfers ourselves, it's good to know how the company we're gonna buy services from stands on crypto. Other than that, we should probably decide between pricing and integration options as currency and country support shouldn't be an issue for any of them?

Oh, and for just invoices this service might be of use. It is free and has no limits https://invoice-generator.com/developers

Dead-simple free API to generate invoices from code. Save yourself the hassle of setting up an invoice template.

Gjermund

For invoices, do we expect to take any kind of cut? If so, how do we plan to do that? I guess for just a pure invoice this wouldn't work?
And we would also need to know when an invoice has been paid to help trigger transfer of credits - maybe?

Gjermund

A couple of other options I had in my backlog for research on this topic:
https://www.ixopay.com/
https://www.spreedly.com/
Feel free to not do anything with them if they are not relevant, of course :)

https://www.notion.so/empowerplastic/Cost-of-different-options-using-Stripe-2ab5420cd5d441eabe3c36af9b963f5e?pvs=4

Summary:
Howdy, after mailing and speaking to Stripe, the cost structure for the different alternatives are clear.

For estimates I guess we would need to model it using expected numbers in terms of #of transactions and # of active accounts.

Payments:
Norwegian or EEA cards:
⇒ Min: 2,4% + 2NOK per Payment
Max: 4,4%+2NOK per payment
Other international cards:
⇒ Min: 3,25% + 2NOK per payment
Max: 5,25% + 2NOK per payment
If local payment options (ie: Klarna or SEPA) are utilized by user:
⇒ Min: 3,7NOK per payment
Max: 4,99% + 4NOK per payment

Invoice:
Min: 0 (If user pays using manual bank transfer options)
IF credit card payments are utilized by user:
Norwegian or EEA cards:
⇒ Min: 2,8% + 2NOK per payment
Max: 4,8%+2NOK per payment
Other international cards:
⇒ Min: 3,65% + 2NOK per payment
Max: 5,65% + 2NOK per payment

Connect:
Cost will depend on number of active accounts per month.
Active = Any account that we send payouts to during a given month.
Summary: 15NOK per active account / month + 0,25% + 5NOK per sent payout.
So 1 payout per month ⇒ 20NOK + 0,25% Per account.
