Custom Igniter Config Request

Hello! Love your mod! Can't wait for more updates.

I'm trying to make it fit in my progression based modpack and I was wondering if by chance there can be a way to allow the user to use a different igniter item as opposed to flint and steel and /or have a way to replace the blocks used for the portal platform. (i.e. replacing the center Gold Block with Brass from Create or similar.
