About this module:

This module was created for the Nepean District Historical Archaeology Group (NDHAG), based at Sydney, NSW, Australia. The module has been designed to systematically record and document the brick production in the Hawkesbury / Nepean River region.

Authorship:

This module was co-developed by Cristian Cuello at NDHAG and Petra Janouchova at the FAIMS Project, Department of Ancient History, Macquarie University.

Funding:

Development of this module was funded by Research Attraction and Acceleration Program (RAAP) NSW Department of Industry 16805/00 aimed to support innovation and investment in the New South Wales in 2016 and 2017.

November 2017

Licence:

This module is licensed under an international Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Licence (CC BY 4.0).

Access:

The module can be downloaded from this GitHub repository.

This module contains the following FAIMS features:

  • validated fields with user observations
  • controlled vocabularies
  • coordinates from internal GPS
  • point creation in map

This module can be used with no or minor modification for:

  • historical brick production in NSW
  • simple sampling of historical artefacts
