Hello, I have been using FRR for a few days. I have activated the OSPFv2 daemon and it is working fine. The problem is that if I insert a class of IP in the networks, the OSPF is also activated for the interface concerned. Example:
network 185.1.114.0/24 area 0.0.0.0
185.1.114.0/24 is on the ens225 interface
The ens225 interface is connected to my UPSTREAM for BGP sessions
This network is in OSPF to announce it to the other routers but I don't want OSPF to activate on ens225 because otherwise HELO packets arrive at my UPSTREAM.
If I remove the network from the configuration:
ens225 is up
ifindex 56, MTU 1500 bytes, BW 10000 Mbit <UP, BROADCAST, RUNNING, MULTICAST>
OSPF not enabled on this interface
Is this normal behavior?
Thank you
