Posted in the community yesterday, since it might hold some useful info, I share it here too:

future problem

First occurred: 21:29:48 (2 occurrences)

custom_components.seatconnect.config_flow::SeatConnectConfigFlow calls async_show_progress without passing a progress task, this is not valid and will break in Home Assistant Core 2024.8. Please report it to the custom integration author

I used the same credentials for the app

This error originated from a custom integration.

See #63 (comment) for solution.
I saw this suggestion too on the HA Community page, but it doesn't work for me.

I logged on to the https://seatid.vwgroup.io/ and did the walk-through. When that didn't change the outcome, I went to https://cupraid.vwgroup.io/ and did the same (with the same account).

Since it’s al marketing / commercial consent, I don’t think it matters whether you give consent or not, but does anyone know their given consent to specific parts?

edit: It looks like issue 63 is not the same as this one. Different error message and different solution.

Solved it.... So.. for everyone who bumps into the same issue as I did, see my logs above.

When you install the Seat Connect App, it prompts you to install MySeat App (at least on iOS). Just close the app and reopen it and repeat that every time it prompts you to install the MySeat App.

After the first restart, you can login to the app and do everything that is necessary.

So, at first it looks like a BS App, which I obviously removed almost instantly... But that basically was the whole issue...

This code is no longer being maintained by me and requires contributors in order to fix issues.
I will let this issue stay open in order for others to find the same fix since info is not "fixed" in library.

I need to select a car here first, and the CUPRA Formentor is not listed here anymore. How did you skip / do that?

Been a while, but I think I selected a random car. Then later it let me login or enter the VIN (can't remember). Had to go through a few - think the car I said began with A (don't want to log out to test, sorry)
