Add Mic slider to control panel

Just found out about this great tool via a years old comment on the net and while trying it out and playing around with it I found that one feature is missing that would elevate EarTrumpet (to me) to perfection:
A slider/mute button for the recording devices (e.g. mic).

It should be implemented just like one of the software running with an icon and a slider, where clicking the icon mutes the device (e.g. the mic).
As is we still have to click through settings to get control over e.g. he mic recording volume or to mute it so if it was integrated into EarTrumpet, basically making EarTrumped the one-stop-shop for all audio controls would be just perfect.

Just to clarify: This is not about "Listen to this device" (e.g. listening to what the mic records) but to control recording volume and to actually turn off (mute) the mic when clicking its icon.

I hope you can consider the integration with a future release.
