Feature description

I would like the ability to go to a certain date while scrolling through the Simple Event List view, similar as how you can click on the date in the Daily, Monthly, Monthly and Daily, and Yearly views to open a selector.

Why do you want this feature?

I like the Simple Event List to scroll through my calendar events for the near future.
Howver, sometimes I want to check something that's further away (future or past) and now I either need to scroll a long time or switch views, which I find rather annoying to do.
