I've center-aligned all images in the book now, assign to them some arbitrary proportional sizes for the moment being.

We currently have for the raster images the same problem we had before with the SVG diagrams: i.e. that some images belonging to a set of related images (screenshots, directory trees representations, etc.) have different image widths.

We should identify and classify all the images belonging to a same set, and work out a why to re-create them all using the same width as the largest image in the set, so that when we assign them proportional sizes (e.g. scaledwidth="90%",width="90%") these measures result in images of the same set having consistent proportions.

We also need to bear in mind that:

In any case, right now we need to:

  • Catalogue how many groups of related images exist.
    • Collect links to all their member images.

then we'll be able to come up with some strategy for each images group.

Center-align all images which weren't already aligned, and fix their
scale proportions via an arbitrary percentage based on how they look
in the HTML document.

Many of these images need to fixed in order to ensure that similar
images forming a set are shown with consistent proportions in all
output formats (see #21).
