Project should use piwik as well for tracking, ideally allowing access to the data http://piwik.org

This should allow others to interpret the data, perhaps provide suggestions on various improvements.
Eventually it could also stimulate people wanting to buy some ad-space on project website or investors.
It could even encourage people to spread the word about the project by writing articles on their websites.

This would be required as well https://piwik.org/docs/installation/#medium-and-high-traffic-websites-setup-an-automated-task-cron-to-process-reports - need to figure out how to do it on Openshift though.
