Summary

Adding custom labels at the organization level to help better organizing the issues and PRs.

Background

Motivation and context

Tagging issues and PRs with relevant labels help organizing and classifying them.

Suggested Solution

A list of labels should be proposed and configures for the organization. Different categories of labels can be used, for example:

  • Issue type labels: New feature, improvement, bug report ...
  • Status labels: Open, in progress, completed, help needed ...
  • Priority labels : High priority, medium priority, low priority ...
Once the labels are configured, default Issue type labels can be added to the issue templates.

Outcome

New labels list.
