Login.gov User Attributes Update
Dozens of users over the years have run into issues logging into Touchpoints when they also have a personal (non .gov/.mil) email address. Thus, Touchpoints has updated its integration with Login.gov. Now, the system selects your .gov/.mil email from all email addresses linked to your Login.gov account, rather than just the one from your most recent login. (The additional emails are not stored.)

U.S Digital Registry Deprecated As of September 19, 2024
As of September 19, 2024, the public-facing Digital Registry search page has been deprecated.
The U.S. Digital Registry originated in OMB Memorandum M-17-06. In September 2023, M-23-22 rescinded the requirement for GSA to maintain a digital registry of all websites and social media handles for agencies.
Important
Extended Account Deactivation Period to 90 days:
Touchpoints users now have 90 days (up from 30 days) before their account is deactivated due to inactivity. You will receive a reminder email to login to prevent account deactivation 14 and 7 days prior to account deactivation. If your account becomes deactivated, just email us at [email protected] to have it reactivated.
Important
Accessibility Enhancements:
We’ve updated the Touchpoints modal widget to enhance accessibility, especially for users navigating with a keyboard. The new modal is based on the standard USWDS modal component, replacing our previous custom-built version.
To further enhance accessibility, we’ve introduced AXE, a tool that automatically checks each page in the application for Section 508 compliance. This helps us to identify and fix accessibility issues earlier in the development process.
When you click the export csv button within the “Responses” tab, Touchpoints will initiate an asynchronous job. This process will take a few minutes, and you will receive an email with a link to download the export report. Please note the link will expire after 30 minutes of the initiation of the export.
API is encouraged for forms with a high volume of responses. Please visit our wiki for more information.
Although we can’t prevent spam submissions, we encourage you to manage spam responses by using the tagging feature within the “Responses” Tab. Please visit our wiki for more instructions on tagging responses.
