A table of release dates for each MIxS release should be prominently displayed on the MIxS repo landing page or a GSC web page

I have been contributing to MIxS for close to three years. I have not been able to find any documentation about the date on which each MIxS release was published.

I believe this is a standard operating procedure for organizations that release information artifacts, and that it will be of general benefit to all MIxS and INSDC Biosample users.

The release is the responsibility of the head of the CIG.

I wonder if we could add a table to the read me we just merged in that has version number, date released, a link to where you can find the source of truth for that release, and an excel representation.
