[Bug]: The fingerprint button doesn't open the fingerprint popup

Bug description

The fingerprint pop up doesn't show up anymore after clicking the fingerprint option to authenticate beside the arrow

When did this issue start happening? Note that if it was caused by a phone OTA update (or any other update not related to Passy), I might not be able to resolve it for you.

I'd recommend restarting your phone and trying again. Android systems will usually lock your biometric sign-in after too many attempts, and restarting the system will reset the lock counter.

hi @GleammerRay ! thank you for replying, i am using Pixel 6a with the latest updates and i just restarted my phone and opened the app and the biometric sign-in still didn't show up

I'll update my Pixel 4a later today to check if I can replicate this issue on my end.

okay i noticed another thing
i added another account to check if the biometric is working on that, and it is
however it's not working on the original one
and i remember clearly logging in through biometric on that one

That is great news! Try disabling the biometric screen lock in your original account's settings and then enabling it again.
