Gmail Script: Mark Unread Emails as Read

This Google Apps Script is designed to mark all unread emails in your Gmail inbox as read. It can be useful for users who want to streamline their inbox and quickly mark unread emails as read.

Google Script Setup

  1. Open your Google Drive: Google Drive.
  2. Create a new Google Apps Script project:
    • Click on "+ New" in the left sidebar.
    • Select "More" and then "Google Apps Script."
  3. Copy and paste the provided script into the script editor.
  4. Save the script with a meaningful name.

Run the Script

Now that you have set up the script, you can run it manually to clear all unread emails at once.

To run the script manually:

  1. In the script editor, click on the play button (▶️) in the toolbar.
  2. Review and authorize the necessary permissions.
  3. Monitor the script execution in the "Execution log" to ensure it completes successfully.

Notes
