Describe the bug
HSTracker keeps crashing and quitting while playing Battleground Hearthstone

To Reproduce
Just play the game

Game mode

Battlegrounds

Expected behavior
That it doesn't crash while I play!

Version (please complete the following information):
Version 2.3.6 (2602)

Additional context
Play on Mac

Log file

I don't see any reported crashes on the AppCenter. Did you opt out from uploading them? Without that, it won't be possible to help you.

You can try find the crash reports locally by running the Console application, click on Crash Reports and check if the HSTracker crashes are found there that match the appropriate time of crashing. If you find it, you can attach the report here (use right-click and Reveal in Finder to locate the report)

I'm also experiencing these crashes, though tbh it's more like a silent quit. There's no normal system (macOS) "This application has crashed" dialog and nothing logged in Console.

I'm on Ventura 13.1, HSTracker Version 2.3.6 (2602). I'm streaming standard logs in Console now while playing to see if anything gets logged the next time it crashes.

@iblackscreen Please attach a crash report. The log file won't be any helpful unfortunately. If you cannot find a crash report in the Console application, try checking the directory ~/Library/Application Support/net.hearthsim.hstracker/com.microsoft.appcenter/crashes

So, i just had the bug again. The Tracker just closes. There is no crash report anywhere to find or pop up. I will post the new log again. The Log seems to indicate where the problem might be.

Unfortunately I don't have anything to go by at the moment. I will be releasing a new version with the constructed balance patch which will contain a new version of Bob's Buddy. Hopefully that will fix these issues. I assume that if you disable BB, the crashes will go away.

So far, I had no crash, but it happened rarely. In a couple of days i would know for sure.
But one other thing: I had to manually update the tracker, cause the auto update says 2.3.6 is the newest version. I think it didn't get fully pushed on the update server ;)

For some reason the update XML file didn't get published again (same happened for 2.3.6). I asked the team about it but it may be Monday before that's resolved. Manual update will be necessary for now as I have no control over the file at the moment.
