Are there any plans for an update to blender 2.8?
It would be very much appreciated.

Great work on keeping this addon alive and up to date so far, thank you!

Sorry, very late answer. No, no plans from me. My knowledge is far too low to port it to 2.8. I looked at it and there are too much changes in 2.8, even the original Author of the plugin stated, that this needs a complete rewrite and I'm a totally Python beginner.

Enenra work on a complete new version for Blender 2.8, but it is right now not ready: https://github.com/enenra/space-engineers-utilities
