Thanks for reporting (and using the tool). We plan to add RoCE into the tool but not on the immediate future, that is why I add the help-wanted for the time being in case someone wants to catch it up before we do it.
running nsdperf over soft-roce causes the client to abort.
this happens on CentOS 7.7 systems using the release kernel rdma drivers with ConnectX-5 cards.
specifics on the kernel vesion, CentOS release, hardware,
tests run and the results are in the file test_results_rxe_2 in the attached zip file, along with the various support scripts.
basically 2 identical systems are being used. ngfre160 (nee ngfsv160 and dv160) is the client and ngfre163 is the server.
nsdperf works just fine with hard roce.
