Link to notebook launch not findable:

    1. Start at https://dev.workflowhub.eu/workflows/227?version=1
    1. Find there a sentence and available at idr0094-ellinger-sarscov2.
    1. Click on that link -> land at the search result with 2 experiments
    1. Click on one of the results
    1. Find the RHP Attributes
    1. scroll down in the Attributes to find the notebook link (last item)

I would argue that an uninformed user will be blocked in the above workflow at step 4., or , at the latest, almost certainly at steps 5. and 6. The user will conclude "confusing, cannot find the relevant content"

Trying to compare to various expectations from published similar workflows incl. https://workflowhub.eu/workflows/195, https://workflowhub.eu/workflows/120:

  • overall, assuming the publication is straightforward, it effectively gives a landing page and potentially improves the discovery of various IDR workflows
  • is the layout (Summary/Inputs/Outputs) something that is generic and/or that should be used in our context?
  • we probably need a better title than IC50 exploration explaining what the workflow does
  • the BioBB workflows have a launch on mybinder link in the Discussion Channels. Is this a relevant/complementary place to the link within the summary?
  • minor: the IDR dev collection is licensed as CC-BY but the workflow is licensed as BSD-2
  • minor: Workflow Type: Unrecognized workflow type is that auto-detected?

  • The options are a bit different between sandbox and workflowhub. I have created a new Workflow type
  • It does not hurt to add launch on MyBinder to the discussion channel. Added item o the summary is also an option
  • I don't think a generic layout as such exist, (Summary/Inputs/Outputs) is certainly something that we could use
  • For the title, yes. This was mainly to see how the interface was working and what needed to be provided more that a final version of the product.
  • For licenses, our notebooks are licensed as BSD (see footer of notebook). Unfortunately that option is not available for "Collections". It might be in the Workflowhub but i first need to create team or space (See below)

When joining workflowhub, in order to have access to functionalities, we need to create team or space.
We can for example an ome space and we create teams within that space IDR, omero whatever, then create collections
