Please note that for the "Cite Dataset" dropdown we need to create an API endpoint for the various formats (Endnote XML, RIS, and BibTeX):

• Cite Data: Various formats of citation are not accessable via URL dataverse#3140

I'm not sure why I gave up on this, but long ago (2016!) I did start hacking a bit on adding this citation API: IQSS/dataverse@c433395
