Overview of the Feature Request
As for installations (gdcc/dv-metrics#15), it would helpful to also have in the metrics a graph with the number of accounts in order to follow and make more visible the Dataverse project's growth.

Any open or closed issues related to this feature request?

... you'll see that we are restoring this repo to its original vision of aggregating across all 100 installations of Dataverse.

Is your issue more about metrics from a single installation of Dataverse? The new repo for that is https://github.com/gdcc/dv-metrics

This issue is more about single installations, but number of users in the global dataverse metrics would still be very valuable information I think.
I'll copy this issue to the dv-metrics repo and reformulate this one to be about the aggregation, would that work ?
