INSPIRE Europea Directive 2007/2/CE for spatial information and 19115-2

Dear all,

As maybe many of you know yet, in Europe we have developed a normalization initiative for spatial information (included images, gridded data and metadata) under the umbrella of INSPIRE Directive 2007/2/CE.

During last days I have compared current version of 19115-2 and INSPIRE normative for raster metadata and I did not find clear incompatibilities. In fact INSPIRE raster metadata is so generic and makes use of 19115-1 elements.

Some of have done a similar cross checking between current version of 19115-2 and INSPIRE? or other similar continental initiative?
