Hi,

I have been going through this repo for a while and can see it's something we have been trying to build at our end. We are looking into building on Idle finance but on Polygon blockchain. This will require us to re-implement the Idle finance smart contracts on the Polygon network.

So I am not really sure what this repo is but I want to know if this is the same thing this repo is doing as I can see the changes made. So is this an Idle finance bridge on a polygon or what is this supposed to be doing?

Thanks.

I can reply more specifically about the contracts part. We have this open PR Idle-Labs/idle-contracts#23 with all the changes for polygon + all the addresses of the deployed contracts:

https://github.com/Idle-Labs/idle-contracts/pull/23/files#diff-8beeb2c78a44ca48b6b076f27d6f9aa31d88dff8f14ab34f29201fce44ec6e7dR510

The contracts are deployed and working but they are not actively rebalanced for now.

Awesome, what's the expected ETA for this. Because we were planning to migrate internally from our team. Is there an open page to track this progress?

We have no clear ETA for this atm. We are currently supporting Aave only currently so probably when there is another big lending provider we can integrate. idleUSDC, idleDAI and idleWETH are deployed in Matic currently but not actively mantained and rebalanced yet

So is it wise to use it now and how do we implement it if we want to?
Is it possible for us to move let's say compound contracts to polygon first then reimplement it from idle contracts/

It is not actively rebalanced (ie funds are not put in lending) until at least another protocol is out so contracts can be integrated but it's not really useful until rebalances are actively performed. For other protocols it would mean that eg Compound DAO/Compound Team set everything up on Polygon on their own like Aave did (so not a fork) or other strategies are built to support other established protocols
