Extend RYOT to also allow us to track events. Events could be a Theater Performance, Music Festival, Convention, or meet up.

Initial implementation could just be a couple of different fields:

  • date/time
  • location
  • upload a picture
  • description
  • external links

Have you taken a look at #73 ?

This could be expanded to tracking travel more generally.

The recommendation engine could suggest:

  • places you might be interested in visiting
  • useful guides or websites for destinations you've added to upcoming trips
  • interesting places to visit or things to do at those destinations

And down the road, a travel planner to help you put together an itinerary for your trips: places to go and see, lodging, travel routes

With AI, you might also identify common tips, strategies, and warnings from websites or Reddit that might be helpful for a trip. For example, if you spend half a second on any of the Japan travel subreddits, you will see suggestions for getting an IC card for easy access to train travel and advice to get an e-sim or pocket wifi for better phone connectivity in Japan.

I can work on this, if no one else is working on this at the moment.

This is a big feature. How do you plan to implement this?
